This is apropos a news item "Zardari leaves country for 'medical check-up'" carried by the newspaper yesterday. This item was a creed that the newspaper had received from news agency "NNI".

Later, it was found to be concocted and baseless "news". Prior to its publication, the newspaper could not reach the concerned media people of Pakistan People's Party despite several attempts.

Yesterday, the spokesman for Bilawal House rejected as "complete rubbish" the aforementioned item that was broadcast by quite a few TV channels and carried by some publications, including Business Recorder.

The error is deeply regretted.
